Dr. Lauren Moss

Lauren Moss is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), certified school counselor, and special education teacher. She earned her PhD from the University of Georgia in the field of Counseling and Student Personnel Services.

Dr. Moss has extensive professional experience working with children who have diverse needs in variety of settings and school systems. Having professional experience as a special education teacher, school counselor, and professor, Dr. Moss’ specialties include high incidence disabilities such anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, and attention challenges. She has extensive experience with special education, 504 planning, and RTI/MTSS protocol.

Instead of looking just at what’s not going well for a client, Lauren utilizes a strengths-based approach to empower young people. She encourages collaboration when working with families, peers, educators, and other stakeholders. Within this model, Dr. Moss also offers parent and system consultation, student advocacy services, and group workshops.
